Reckon what the excuses will be this time? I was told Monday morning by FWP that they would possibly release antelope, deer b and elk b drawing results Tuesday afternoon but no later than mid Wednesday morning. Those have both came and went. Anyone heard what the screw up was this time?

Was supposed to be the 15th, what’s the big deal?

drawing is in process...has taken all day but they are probably hand counting licenses versus quotas to make sure they didn't mess it up

“That they would POSSIBLY release…”

Sounds like it was possible but didn’t happen. There was no guarantee

They told you they might possibly “screw up” until the 15th. Short fuse?

Some people's reading comprehension is less than par.

More than anything I just want Montana to understand the importance of their draws and exhibit some professionalism in the entire process of which we've seen alot of quite the opposite so I'm skeptical of what the delay is.

I’m not sure what the issue is, but apparently tomorrow will find out, I’m hoping to get a tag

Uhhh - The deadline for Antelope, Deer B, Elk B was June 1. MT FWP website clearly states "Drawings will be completed approximately two weeks after the deadlines except for antelope, which occurs in August."

Looks pretty clear to me, and even a day early.

Mine says successful so no complaints here at all :)

Yes sir Boggs me too!

Talking to them supersedes any date someone wrote down last December for me although maybe it shouldn't have as they obviously didn't have a clue what they were talking about.

So...apparently Montana did NOT "screw up again" ?

Sounds to me like they were working to not screw up and the still catch hell. AND still a day early.

I would also argue the that their written/published statements supersede what some random employee told you on the phone…

Years ago when I bought tags for a MT hunt one person in the group got a note from MT F &G that they sent him the wrong "cow" tag. He actually was supposed to get an "either sex" tag. They wanted him to return it, pay additional fee for the correct tag on something that was their mistake.

In his communication he told them no, this is how its going to be: "I will hold on to this "cow tag" until you send me the correct tag, no additional monies exchanged. I have been in contact with the governor's office and I will expect this to be resolved ASAP."

Several e-mails and a phone conversation or two and they sent the correct tag.

Ok so they lied. That's a screw up to me. I hate some disagree.
