I also ran into rattlers.
Dont drive on wet roads, gumbo mud. drys out fast.

Seriously, the slimy gumbo is nothing to joke about. Do not try to drive after a rain. If you're in a remote area and have to get out to go home don't try it. Be prepared to be late leaving.

My wife had a bull tag there last year. With the Musselshell dry and the APR buying the 73 Ranch, things changed a lot since I last hunted there. Expect to be rubbing shoulders with a bunch of other hunters, if the conditions haven’t changed. We have a love/hate relationship with the breaks. Some years it is fantastic others not so much!
