Has anyone had any experience at C lazy u ranch in Granby CO . Hunting elk.

I owned a tourist lodge on Lake Granby just a few miles east and just over the hill, of the C Lazy during the 1990s. Big money for a stay. I would ask for references. Not in prime elk or deer country as the area around is being build upon and the area had the big burn three years ago. You might check the CPW office in Hot Sulphur Spring and the Nat Forest Office in Granby for info on habitat and animal movement in the area. my best, Paul

I agree with Paul. We own a condo in Winter Park, so I've done a lot of elk hunting in that area. The surrounding area is almost all public OTC, and it gets hammered during elk season. Fires also devastated that area a few years back, and I don't think the already low elk populations have came back. It's not an area I'd pay for a private land/outfitted elk hunt.
