Elk

Some pictures from last couple of weekends. Just to make sure I'd don't get off the bowsite primary topic, I'll say upfront Biden is guilty ;)-.
I am going to post a few of this bull I found this morning because he is cool, unique, light was great, and I liked him.
Not a bad bull for an OTC Colorado unit! ;)
Boggs was not banner day for finding bulls, but bet we can find some.
Closer to your typical OTC bull.
In case anyone was wondering how elk get up the mountain.
These birds fought over and shredded this paper.
Not much of a picture but some kind of weasel, not sure what kind but I don't think he holds any political office.
Just Pika but I like finding them.
I don't post or take many sunrise pictures and this morning was just an average one. But I sure enjoy days I get to watch one in the high country or the plains for that matter.
Everyone have a good weekend.
WOW, nice pix John, impressive...
Unbelievable. I love the pics!
Way cool as usual. Those are some awesome pics. Just to keep this ttt.......Totally agree on the Biden thing:)
Question- What do you guys think causes that pedicle to be offset on that first bull? Seen it a few times and have killed one like that. Was told possibly stepped on as a calf and also have been told its genetic. Thoughts?
Nice pics. Glad you included the calf as it is nice to see their growth at this point. Thanks for sharing.
Nice pics and scenery. You're pictures never disappoint. Thanks for bringing them to us
By the way...guilty
Awesome pics…thanks for sharing sir!
pretty much how I think it looks in heaven....
Very kool----->
I should have had ya come out with me last week while I was scouting on my D-Ram tag unit as all I got was crappy Heatwave pix from Digi-Scoping.
Thanks for sharing,
Robb

Really cool John, thanks! Really enjoy the wildlife pics, but a nice sunset/sunrise thrown in the mix is nice too.
Some of my finest sun rises were in Wyoming while mulie hunting. Man I miss those views. Thanks for a reminder.
Thanks guys!
Robb only two cures I know for the heat waves. One be close to the critters and try not to shooting when they are going on. It usually caused when the sun heat different surfaces at different rates. But even shooting over the hood of a hot engine on a cold day can create them. But pictures of deserts would be cool.
Great photography John, thanks for sharing!
Bump
True that JMC.
Thanks,
Robb
