God is Great. Yesterday I accomplished a goal set in honor of my late father and mother. I decided to go 100% traditional for the rest of my hunting adventures. The recurve I used was very special to me. I had @wildhorsecreekbows build the bow with the same pieces of wood I used to make both my parents urns. After sitting for two days and moving my tree stand location twice I was fortunate enough to pattern this buck and make a great shot on him at only 9 yards. The broadhead I used is the TRIBUTE that is dedicated to my father and one of his last designs. This by far is one of my most memorable hunts.

It amazes me how God will allow everything to fall in place in situations like this. Congratulations to a great trip to honor your Dad. Totally different angle of Gods greatness- my mom raised peppermint plants in her back yard. She passes away in the first of October. I had my windows open a few days later and I am smelling peppermint. I went out and underneath my window sill was 3 2 foot tall plants of peppermint. They had never been there before. 15 years later they are still there. Its all part of the still small voice that the Lord tries to teach us about Him if we just listen and notice.
