Who's got a B&C on the wall?

The other thread got me thinking, I wonder how many of you have a Boone and Crocket qualifying animal taken with a bow? This site has some real killers and highly successful hunters....love to see some pics if you have a bow killed Boone and Crocket animal you've taken. I can't start this one off unfortunately lol so hopefully someone else will.
I have several p&y and that is generally my goal on any hunt, so it would be very difficult for me to pass a p&y holding out for a b&c. I have a goat coming from last sept that I think will be the closest I’ve ever gotten. I’ll be interested to find out what he will actually measure, I think it will be close.
But the short answer is “no, not me”.

My A/Y Moose, Muskox, and Grizzly Bear make B&C. My Coues deer just missed.
Whities rule. Booner with archery gear is special for sure.
Got a couple of typical whitetails that haven’t been entered, but were officially scored, that would qualify. Also have several others that gross way above it, but won’t net it.
First net Booner
First net Booner
Shiras Moose, Bison, Quebec Labrador Caribou and a Central Canadian Barren Ground Caribou thatis bit enough but cannot enter in Velvet.
5 - 2 Black Bears, Cougar,Musk ox, Coues deer
See this is there a like button would be perfect… look at Matt’s Troys and Charlie’s pics… Like like like
Just looked up at one reading this and snapped a picture.
I have an awards whitetail, but nothing all-time. I try to change that on every hunt ;)
On the wall and officially listed in P&Y, B&C and SCI
One of many photos of the Colorado Shiras' bull I killed in 2012. Number 3 in the B&C 28th Award Period. 180 3/8.
Beautiful Zeik …
And because I’m Sitting on the couch as I typed this I snapped a photo
Bear and Ox are B and C
117 0/8" B&C
117 0/8" B&C
3 All time B&C & 2 Awards B&C with a bow... I also have a P&Y mule deer that nets 200 2/8 but velvet keeps it out of B&C... Also have 6 others that make B&C with rifle & muzzleloader...
I had a top 10 Bobcat and top 20 Lynx according to SCI. But no B&C categories for them. too bad.
That's an epic moose Ron. I only have trophy size deer. Taken from you know where.
Was gonna put this on other thread but the mass B&C sheep carry is impressive! CO 2015.
Decent Bucks but neither of them make B&C Stix
Close but no cigar for this guy!
References to ranking was at time taken, although most still apply and the larger mule deer is the pending velvet state record.

I've been very fortunate to take 6 animals with a bow that have been officially measured as large enough to meet the minimum net scores for B&C (awards or all-time), all public land and DIY other than occasional scouting help. However, two are in velvet and currently not eligible for B&C, but I've included them in the photo collage because they meet the B&C minimum.
Gross boone whitetail, gross boone antelope, boone black bear
Missed by 2/8"
Missed by 2/8"
Still hoping I can meet a P&Y measurer in Kauai!
Got a bunch of 20" black bears, only 3 went over 21". No other species unfortunately
What Fields said x2… wow!
I have an Oklahoma gross booner. Yea, come at me bro. :)
So many incredible and amazing critters! So amazing to see any bow killed B&C eligible animal!
I have this guy that made it.
Also have a Mountain Caribou in velvet that would make it if stripped and a mountain lion that just hit the minimum. A few additional critters that meet minimum but never entered in any books over the years for various reasons.
The Glenn St, Charles award blew me away.
BTW, that 8 point WT is absolutely stunning! Congratulations Bowfinatic!
Beautiful animals everyone!
Not too bad, Marvin. lol. WOW
If that 8 was standing beside a ten that just made minimum, and I knew the scores of both before pulling the trigger I think I'd still crank that 8. What a specimen.
Bowfinatic - Got any other pics of that 8 you could share? And was that hunt for that 8pt/ you on a MWW episode?
I remember your write up thread about that hunt. Congratulations again on an amazing buck!
Yes this was on midwest whitetail in 2021
This one grossed B&C, netted P&Y.
Mnt Lion, entered in Long Hunter/Awards B&C, not yet submitted to SCI.
Muley Buck, officially measured not submitted to B&C, nor SCI, yet.
Bull Buff, officially measured, not submitted to B&C, nor SCI, yet.
Buff on the ground/.45-70 rifle.
Robb
Shot a net boone non-typical whitetail that I had officially scored. Also killed a typical white-tail that I haven’t had officially scored that would net north of 170.
Lee
Absolutely AWESOME animals! That buck is a STUD Justin!
OK, now I feel SO inferior! ;-)
So many impressive animals in this thread, congrats everyone. But that woodland bou has to be one of the prettiest, chocolate antlers and white mane, fantastic.
This one Net's above B&C Awards, but an inch under All-Time.
Another Awards, but just under All-Time
My wife with one of hers that again, Nets above awards and just misses All-Time.
The Muches are hell on critters with their bows!
Hell of a bunch of guys and gals on here are Hell on Critters for sure, Zackman! Love seeing all the big uns that guys have skewered:-)
Well after last week it should be 6 Now… Woodland caribou should net around 300 give or take an inch
I have a couple that I expect would make B&C but they’ve never been measured. I really don’t have any interest in “inches” .
10 inches short on a couple whitetail, and elk. 20 short on Alaska moose. Story of my life! Some impressive animals on this thread.
This whitey that grossed just shy of 202 and a black bear that went 21 1/16… 2017 was an awesome year!

My first ever B&C qualifier taken September 10th...not officially measured yet of course. Green score is more than an inch above all time...but he will undoubtedly shrink some. So potentially all time, but awards is a given. Either way, very happy bowhunter!
If you missed the hunt recap and have any interest, see the link.
I may have a B&C but have zero interest in measuring or entering. Nothing against those that do so, but I hunt for different reasons.
Yea ya said that Dale …
But what you fail to realize is a number doesn’t make an animal P and Y or B and C … What does is taking the step to honor the animal and help support both organizations that work tirelessly for conservation … And for me that’s reason enough
Totally agree with Shug.
I have a black bear that is B&C. Had animal measured and entered into record book 25 yrs after taking it.
If the animal is the focus the hunters name needs to go.
Also no need to take an animal to help the club. If you send them a check today they will be thankful and will cash it without request that you send in other forms or photos.
Congrats gents. A Fair Chase “Booner” with a bow is a fine accomplishment.
Just one and he only made B&C by 2/8”! Lol. Illinois public land 2021.
Congrats on the caribou Shug. Heckuva thing to take any true Booner with a bow!
Congrats on the Booner stag, Mark!
Grant I regularly send money in to different funds… When was the last time you did?
Shug, Ive asked several guys that “honor the animal” by entering it in the book, why is the hunters name in the book, instead of the animal species, where and when taken and the score. I’ve never received a good answer. Again, I’m not against P&Y or B&C, I just don’t enter animals that I’ve killed.
March. Wild sheep foundation.
Dale, I understand what you're saying....Yet, you still chose to contribute to a thread asking who has B&C qualifying animals to say..."I probably have one too!....but I dont care what it scores"
methinks ya kinda do care.....
Fake news grant and don’t say wild sheep foundation when they are asking about something else…
See I can edit my post too…lol
They have to be taken legally right? Just asking for a friend ;?
Dale06: I enter all eligible animals in both P&Y and B&C for four or five reasons as stated by others but one of the biggest reasons is to have my name in the book for many generations to come.
It really doesn't make a lot of sense to come on this thread and brag about the size of the animals you've killed and not put in the book because you don't want to brag about the size of the animals you've killed by entering them into the book.
BOHNTR incredible muley man . . incredible
I kill a Boone and Crockett it's going in the book
Charlie, thanks for your response.
Honestly, when I look inside the ‘book’, I almost never look at the hunter’s name. I tend to look at the year, state, and some of the listed measurements to fully appreciate the listing.
I agree Charlie. Whitetail rules but I do love black bear
Not officially measured but this elk of mine was measured by an experienced acquaintance to be 362.
Very impressive animals on this thread. Congrats to all that were skillful and fortunate enough to take them !
2023 bighorn made it!
2023 bighorn made it!
Dang! Some impressive animals on this thread! I think Cazador has a huge bighorn that made it ?
Crazy how an elk is missing from the thread so far (I think, unless I missed it). B&C score on them is really high and with a bow is tough to do. I'm guessing it's because the wild places that actually have them are extremely hard to draw?
Thoughts?
Only booner I have entered.
It is incredibly rare to take a B+C trophy, but they are out there. I have been fortunate to take a B+C Shiras Moose and Bison that are in the all-time book, and an Alaska Yukon moose that makes the awards book. Bill
Congrats guys! Great looking animals!
One of my most memorable hunts because of the 3 people that were there with me. My #2 animal, my #1 only made P&Y by 2 inches.
I've have been blessed to get lucky enough to take two that make the all time book, a whitetail and a desert bighorn.
I never craved sheer numbers in the "books." Instead, my goal, (long since achieved,) was to have one entry noted in EACH book! B&C, P&Y, Longhunter, SCI and Rowland Ward.
Big stuff killed after that went "unentered" and not officially measured. Just think what I have saved in "entry fees?!!"
Pete
Yep, that Desert Ram is special!
Rob neither of them look like B and C animals… Find a new measurer!!
Nice animals guys. After seeing what the B&C certificate looks like maybe I’ll enter some animals. All rifle kills though. I’ve never killed any that high scoring with a bow.
Old yes. High scoring no.
I just sold one of Kermit’s autographed books yesterday. Not that rare of a book but a nice one to have.
0 for me. An Elk and a Whitetail right on the edge. I shot a really old Whitetail once late season. He had shed his rack and scored 0. I hunted him all year and he had outwitted me. I guess that makes me a deer hunter not a rack hunter LOL
Could someone post their “ Gross Booner Award Certificate”??
I would love to see that..
Congrats on the latest Booners guys!
Still waiting on my second B&C certificate for the Desert Ram arrowed last February. Zero Booners most of my life...and then got lucky to take two in a five month span.
Igsp- that would be most of the ones that are in awards book, but not the all time book.
I’ve got two all time booners, killed 11 years apart. Caribou and whitetail. My lifelong dream would be to get all 5 Manitoba big game species as booners. That’s my NA29 :)
195 5/8
195 5/8
373 2/8
373 2/8
Igsp- that would be most of the ones that are in awards book, but not the all time book.
I have 3 bears over the 21" mark and a bunch more between 20 and 21", I've never entered anything into B&C
Definitely some amazing critters have been taken by a lot of the bowhunters on here!
Damn M.Paul’s that buck is insane. Ain’t finding those where I live.
Great bunch of animals on this thread. Congrats to all. I like to see the pics with the hunter in them as it puts faces with the handles. I see that M.Pauls used a Revolt to get that monster. It brings to mind a thread of his that stated that "you can tell much about a person by which bow they shoot". Probably the most clever thread that I have seen on here.
