Best Treestand Harness?

I’m looking for suggestions on people’s favorite treestand safety harness. I know guys are using their saddles or rock climbing harness, but that isn’t what I’m interested in right now. I’m looking more for a traditional safety harness.
I have a “tree spider” brand that is probably 12-15 years old, and I admittedly hardly ever use it (and that is probably an over statement). It’s just too bulky and a pain to put on/use. Kinda the things I’m looking for are - easy of use (on/off) - comfort - simplicity. Price doesn’t really matter, and quite honestly I’m not looking for the “absolute safest thing on the market”. I’ll take convenience over absolute safety. I don’t use one now, so anything will be safer than what I’ve been doing.
I don’t think I want one of the full vest type thing. Or one with big pockets on the belt/straps, more a basic model I can wear under outter layers. Open to all suggestions.
Thanks, —Jim
I modified a muddy harness. 86$ I cut off all the extra buckles besides the leg straps and chest strap. Works great, fast and light
I know it's not exactly what you're asking, but that's one of the reasons I went to a saddle. I never used a harness. Had all the good intentions in the world but didn't. Now I wouldn't go back. Prob use a hang on 2/10 sits.
When I wear a harness it's a rock climbing harness. Alpine Bod
For me it's the Tree Spider.
You state, not interested in a rock climbing harness, then proceed to describe exactly what you want is a rock climbing harness:):)
I'm still using the same safety "belt" that I've used since the 90's...I know I need to upgrade, so I'll be watching this thread.
I have a seat-o-the-pants and love it. I would avoid any harness that loops the upper leg, as it also closes off the upper pants pockets.
I don’t think people who insist on a traditional harness, have ever been suspended in one. You can go into an REI, try on and suspend yourself in a rock climbing harness. Ever go into a Cabela’s, Bass Pro, Sportsman’s Warehouse, etc., and ask to try on and suspend yourself in a traditional harness? Ain’t happening. Yet
