Jim, I think you made a small dent in the carp population. Nicely done and fun.

Dave, yea, but fun. Actually I caught two more the same size and one is for dinner tonight. Sinking tip floating line and black woolly bugger. Waiting for my Nebraska deer hunt in last Oct, and then ducks and geese and maybe pheasants in South Dakota.

Groundhunter. I hear there are two pound perch in that lake. What say you?

Well done Paul. BTW, in my opinion fly rod is the best way to go!

I envy being able to catch trout like that. The fishing I do is perhaps just as exciting if not more, just without the scenery....

Paul, I think "Spot and stalk" fishing is great fun when conditions are right which seems to be the case for you. Can be a little like bowhunting. Guess the pup had to stay home this trip, Badbull.

Badbull, Yea, Teal stayed home but he is in training for sure. Training to be the best retriever he can be. Will not be long before duck, goose ( Yard Hopper Goose Series will start in Mid December) and pheasant season is here. Working on double sight retrieves and blind retrieves. He is now 15 months old and 70#s.
