Thin Treestand Vest??

Anyone have a vest they hunt with when it is warm (treestand hunting)? I like a thin cotton shirt and would love to find a thin vest to wear over it - more for keeping things in pockets - like my rangefinder, phone, grunt.... A vest that would not provide much insulation. May end up cutting the sleeves off a thin cotton jacket if I cannot find anything.

Primos bow vest works well. I liked it better than my cabelas. None are cool though. But, the primos will work in hot temps if you work with it.

I believe they must have quit selling it as I can only find the XXL and I need an L.

How about a vest of turkey hunting?

Generally the turkey vests I have and have seen elsewhere are too bulky. Too much stuff on them and gamebags.... For sure I am not real familiar with the alternatives though....

I've been using a Muddy vest. They have several versions, but like you, I wanted some pockets.

Lawdog - is that vest part of a harness system? I am looking for something to wear over my harness.

Get a small 'sling' pack. Or a 'fishing shirt', cut off the sleeves. I prefer small packs to playing the pocket 'game', ymmv.

Candor, I misread your post. The muddy is a harness system.
