I have shot a number of deer with a longbow, but a few years ago I purchased a Schafer Silvertip Recurve. I had yet to harvest one with it, but finally succeeded this past week.
I got some great footage of the hunt and made a tribute video to Paul Schafer.

I'd be tempted to send them teeth off to have her aged. That does looks to be in her late teens. Congratulations on a stick bow kill. It's on my short list of things to accomplish as well.

Congrats, like seeing those pic's with a trad bow laying there. I did a Fred Bear hunt a couple years ago with a Bear Super K, Bear Razor Heads, and Wood Arrows. Killed the only deer I had an opportunity at, a doe.
