I’m pretty new to this food plot thing
I’ve got about a 1 acre field I planted this fall and it’s doing well, the deer seem satisfied lol
That being said I’m debating doing a spring plot. If I plant a spring plot, would I till it back into the ground before starting my fall plot ?
Say I do clover in spring, could I just broadcast some oats and wheat for my fall plot later in the year ?

Yes , you can do exactly that. I planted Durana an then overseed with Rye and Oats each fall. Has worked great! I frost seed more clover in Feb, even If i probably dont need to. Takes a long time for Durana to get a good foothold. The first year will look terrible usually.

Unless you have hogs. If you do, they are gonna try to eat anything you broadcast and don’t cover.

No hogs were on my property. They are around these parts but not where I’m at, hope to keep it that way
