Anyone use their products? I see they are pricey. Looking for a good lure, for drags, and on rope wicks.
Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks

I have not personally used them but had a good friend, who’s opinion I trust, that used their preorbital scent on some mock scrapes with positive results.

I have used them them for years, with great success. Mostly for cameras and inventory pics. We use the preorbital on the ropes, and the interdigital to establish scrapes. I did try the doe in heat last year, but every deer that crossed paths with the scent drags totally ignored it. And I mean totally. When you are in an area with a ton of deer, you can tell what works and what doesnt (for me)

My experience using it and the hemp rope was marginal, at best. Personally, I have had much better success using grapevines. I know of several very experienced whitetail guys that use it and have positive results. I don’t doubt them, but my experience wasn’t the same.

I have used grape vines for a while now with and w/o Smokey's scents. The deer seems to pick the ones they like and ignore others regardless if I put scent on them or not. I will admit that I am not real disciplined about it.

Guys, I swear by Jackie's ID4 which is a interdigital gland scent. I have watched a doe hit the trail that I layed, put her nose to it and followed it exactly from where I started , it's deadly. Give it a try and they also make some killer doe in heat scents and buck scents. They actual own a herd of deer so it's fresh.

I have been using Smokey's deer lure for a a couple years with positive results. I used to sue James Valley when James was alive and less commercial and loved them. I have not used Smokey's trapping lures as I use different brands but I really like the deer lures.
