It has some really light or white colored hock gland tuffs too, but hard to say in August... Regardless buck or doe, would be a heck of a trophy... Good luck..

Yup, my guess is that deer has a hormonal problem.
One of my best bucks was still in velvet in mid-October. He had the biggest body I've ever seen on a mule deer. He also didn't have any visible testicles.

Look up Cryptorchidism.....It occurs as a result of a sudden decrease of testosterone. Pat Lefemine would be the go to guy to ask about that....
