Anyone doing all days sits these next few days during the near 80 temps we are having in oh/pa? Are they productive at all?

hunted till 9:00 today until I had to go to work.. rudely interrupted at 11:30 by a trail cam pic of a big buck walking directly in front of the stand I was in two and a half hours earlier. Anything can happen at anytime.. One thing for certain, I wasn't killing that buck cause i wasn't hunting.....

Lots of bucks were moving this past weekend in MO. Shot a 148 6/8” deer on an 80 degree high, he was still working a scrape line in shooting light and had 2 other bucks with him. I certainly wouldn’t let the temp dissuade you

If a beautiful young woman approached you and said "let's get it on".....knowing that your species really only gets laid for about 1-2 months out of the year, are you really going to think to yourself, "Nah.....it's too hot ...."? Maybe the activity is reduced somewhat, but it only takes one opportunity to make it worthwhile....now if the warm weather in some way compromises your stand, making it easier for you to get busted, that is a different story.....

The number of pictures that I am getting on my cell cameras is way down since it has warmed up. In retrospect, during the last cold front they were up and I killed a nice buck at 6:00 pm. In November I am in the stand every moment that I can. After 10/25 I hunt cold fronts and may sit all day during a cold front. After 10/28 I will hunt all day unless there is a warm front. Other than that I will not hunt a morning stand and I will not hunt an afternoon stand unless I have a very good reason to such as having a buck I want to kill on camera during daylight or having seen one during daylight. I realize that we cannot kill a buck from the couch. However, I think that for every buck killed by hunting during less-than-ideal times 50 or more are bumped and become much harder to kill. IMO if a bloodhound can smell our trail for 3 days so can a buck. I don't think that we have to even bump a buck to let him know that we are hunting him. A long way of saying that I would not hunt during the warm spell that we are presently having for the next few days if my goal was to kill a mature buck this season. I believe that it is counterproductive.

Im with Goyt on his thoughts. The only pics I have in daylight are does and immature bucks. The mature bucks are spotty and nocturnal right now.
From next Tuesday on will be much better for all day sits and hunting in general with the 20 degree drop in temps

I don't know how you guys can sit all day.
All the deer movement around here has been early and late, and the mature bucks haven't joined the does, yet. We do have a cold front coming this weekend, which should get them moving a bit more.

I was planning on hunting Saturday morning and evening but I'm planning on just hunting Saturday and Sunday in the morning since it will be cooler then in the evenings. Next week the temps will be dropping to the 50's during the day and then i'll try to sit most of the day on a couple of days off i have.

Pic of a very big 8 at 10am two days ago, before the heatwave. Not too much since. I won’t sit out all day during a heat wave again.., ugh.

It's just starting to turn on around here. The temps dropped considerably overnight. My backyard does had 3 mature bucks join them, this morning. The bucks did a lot of playful sparring and raking. There was no dogging going on, yet. They were on their feet until about 9 am, then again around noon.
