Flexible Truck Camper With Ladder Rack?

I suspect this doesn't exist, but if it does, I reckon someone on here will know of it.

A couple of times a year I travel and want a camper shell that ideally would be one of the retractable types that would also allow for a ladder rack on top for a kayak. I usually rent a vehicle for the trips where I use this. Anyone have an idea of camper shell that will fit different model trucks (fully recognizing it may not be long enough or too long for certain trucks) that I can also put a couple of kayaks on top?

Datin Fab Rack over a Softtopper is the only thing close I have seen.

Not a truck topper, but Yakima makes a Kayak trailer with a fold out tent on top call the "sky rise" Sounds like it would be perfect if you want to tow a lightweight setup.

Thanks, Helgermite. I am really trying to avoid towing if possible. Once I start hitting the traffic east of Kansas City my perception of the safety of trailering long distance is that I am taking on a lot more risk. If I was putting 2000 miles on it a week I wouldn't feel so strongly about it, but at 4000 miles in a week, that is adopting more risk than I want.

Just saw an add for an inflatable truck topper. I know nothing about it, but appears to have merit.
