This is pretty cool footage of a hard rutting buck totally exhausted... I like it where he just plops down and towards the end where he's up and walks out of view to do it some more...8^)))

Several years ago I watched a buck running a doe hard, they made a Hugh circle west of me of maybe a mile then returned and both layed down in a pond, then got up a started all over again.

Have to wonder if he just managed to lose a couple wolves or coyotes. Can't necessarily assume it's rut related.

It's 30º out, that big dude needs a break, and is soaking his goodies in some ice cold water. Wouldn't that be the deer version of a cold shower?
