Many years ago I bought a Kuiu Spindrift jacket, mostly for mountain hunting. The ads said that it was an inner layer as it would get tore up in any brush. That’s what made it light and packable. Well this jacket had been on more hunting, scouting, fishing and camping trips than I could possibly recall. I’m wearing it right now. But the zipper is starting to fail and it’s going to need some more Tenacious tape on the forearms soon. In short, it has been my absolute favourite piece of hunting clothing I’ve ever owned. And the most consistently useful.
And I would really like to find another one in good shape. I don’t care about the color or pattern. Large or extra large. I’m not sure how long it’s been since they were available, but quite a few years I’d guess.
If someone has one hanging in a closet and they’d be willing to sell it and ship it to Arizona, I’d be happy to give it a good and active home!

Thanks Jethro. I live in BC and buying anything on EBay out of the US is an expensive pita. If they ship to Canada most everybody uses a shipping hub service. Standards rates are usually from $45 to $70 US, then add 35% for each ge in Canadian pesos. It’s also kind of a pita for guys in your side to ship to Canada. My wife’s sister lives north of Scottsdale AZ and she goes there a times couple through the winter.
In less than twenty minutes, I had Jethro find one on EBay, another person ( thanks JT) offer to buy that one and mail it to AZ and then another person from my own province sends a message that he has one it’s mine for the asking. Now I will be hunting in a Spindrift jacket that Kurt no doubt wore for some of his NA 29 Superslam! Gotta be some mojo left in it yet!
It’s been a pretty good day so far. Now if that shooter comes back before dark …….
This jacket is like brand new compared to my Old Faithful. It lasted about fifteen years, so this replacement should take me to the old folks home. Thanks again Kurt for a much appreciated gift!
And thanks to those that offered help.
