We don’t get out vacationing me and April but we went on a 6 day pack trip in the foot hills of Alberta with an outfitter at the end of July with another couple from here it was an awesome trip beautiful country and better people thought I would share.

I want to go back but I think the wife is out not sure if I’ll do the trip by myself we do most stuff together I wouldn’t enjoy it as much.

This is our hosts I believe it was there first year Kristy was a good cook very bubbly person I think they will do ok with there business. Clearwater basin adventures if u ever want to go to Alberta on a back country trip.

We only seen 3 people in the back country so your pretty much alone. This is the national parks border markers in the beginning of national parks Alberta.

Was a trip of a lifetime for us for sure. Looks like one tag left for next year, there was some big bear late last fall checking the bait.

A fellow north of us killed this bear this fall in his corn he’s a giant to bad no weight.

Winter is looking to be fairly easy on the animals. Not sure what kind of winter kill there ever is on bears, but if there is I doubt there will be this year :)

I think the winter will be good for all animals it’s the wolves that r killing lots around here. Yes was beautiful country.

For residents buckdeer there’s no moose left in our area they said brain worm and ticks killed them off.
