My boys first buck.

A year and a few days ago my oldest son killed his first big game animal on Colorado public land a nice doe whitetail. Tonight he killed his first buck again on Colorado public lands! This hunt was a grind! We have hunted every day of season so far, he had an opportunity on this buck last Sunday with a swing and a miss, we rested the area until this evening after school and went back to find him bedded about 100 yards from his bed sunday morning. He made a great shot and took a buck that is bigger than any mule deer Iv ever taken! Super proud of this kid! It’s a rifle kill but it was with a rifle he worked and paid for himself! Kids a junior in high school works 2 part time jobs and grinds every chance he gets to go hunting and fishing!

RonP he used a 6.5 prc 143 eldx with a i think a Nikon whitetail scope. Shot was 110 yards.
