'morning All,
Wow, I can't believe it's been a year since my yearly Jackson Hole thread.
Every year is different that is for sure.
Super foggy this year barely any snow the elk plus Buff were scare to say the least.
Thanks for taking the time to view All.

I traveled up and over Logan Canyon to view Bear Lake in its wintery wonderland.
I stayed at my new FAV cabin/Rustic Inn @ Jackson Hole.
You are living the life, Sir. Thanks for taking us along.

I really like the separated cabin style.
See my link above for more info.
Slim pickings on the NER.
Foggy and not a single elk.....
Snowy elk tracks on the pavement.

1 super foggy morning in the darkness of early horizon, I had a herd of 20-30 elk cross the pavement right in front of me on a back road.
I let them cross, and I went about 1/2 mile to a pull out to wait for more morning horizon light with the dense fog.
I flipped a U-turn and went back to see if I could get some Digi-Scope pix of the elk and I saw this in the road.
First time ever for me.
I'm running tight this first morning home and I've got a ton of stuff to do before re-packing and leaving again on Monday morning.
I'll have more later.

Robb, Aren't you supposed to be sheep hunting or did I miss a story?
Always enjoy this thread! Thanks for taking us along again!
We got hit early with a storm then it got super nice here on the Lander side of the mountain. I have a feeling it is a very bad year to have a bison tag.
Do you still have a sheep tag in your pocket? Get after that sheep. Those elk and jackson hole will be there next year. Sheep tag not so much !!!

D-Ram is Dec. 11---Dec. 24th. 2nd trip down. I had my son in from Santa Monica and my daughter in from DC, Thanksgiving week and then I had Outpatient Skin Cancer removal surgery that following Monday. My Dr. has me on a 7-10 day window to heal and no infection ect. The 11th will be 14 days....
I had a heck of a time getting Digi pix with the fog and thick moisture but I kinda like how they turned out.
I'm No JMC and his camera work, that is for sure.
Here are some Bull moose.
Enjoy,
Robb
This lil' guy decided to just watch the fun.
Prolly the biggest Shiras moose I have ever seen on the hoof.

Last year Paul was interested in the National Museum of Wildlife Art, so I took a Foggy morning to spend a little more time inside.
Looks like a Fort with all the natural stone construction.

When the fog lifted a bit ya could find some sheep.
Lots of ewe's & lambs with a few young Rams but the bigger Rams haven't migrated down yet.
The ewes seemed to be very alert towards the other ewes.

I stopped in here 1 mid-morning.
I can't believe the price of homes in Kelly and then when ya go look at them it's no way! for that?
Ya can always tell when the All Night Spotters have seen a herd of Elk or Buff cross the Gros Ventre Road, leaving Grand Teton Park, as every pull out has multiple Horse trlrs crammed in them.
Thanks for all the pics this early AM, Robb! Enjoy your Sunday-Funday!
With the Foggy inversion, I hate breathing that yucky air into my lungs, I did all of my workouts inside the lodge's workout room and treadmills.
