The 13th year Yard Hopper goose hunt will start shortly and just after I kill a few more ducks next week. Teal, the new wonder dog, will be the star of the show just as did Chase for over 12 years. So stay tuned in a week or so, to bow hunt for geese in year 13 of the series. Last year was a challenge but ended up killed only 5 geese but missed a couple. My best year was 20 geese and killed 4 in two trips and limited out with 5 geese on one hunt. Teal is growing up and now 18 month old and while he has now retrieved ducks and two Sage Hens, the larger geese he has yet to encounter. Fun times are coming soon. My best, Paul and Teal

Thanks for remembering Chase the ORIGINAL Wonder Dog Paul, we all got to enjoy him through you. I’m sure Teal is gonna be a great dog too, he sure is a handsome devil. Good luck on the goose hunts this year, we’ll be watching for sure.
Meanwhile, as we had to put our Wonder Dog, Sarge, to sleep a month or so ago, we have another in line, not to take his place, but as Teal is, to carry on. Don’t know what we will name her yet, but I go and get her after Christmas. Here she is, chasing some varmint in the grass.
