With news coming in today that I will be operating next season I am now taking bookings for next season. 6 day lynx hunts 1 on 1 $8500 USD license, tag, 5% tax and WCF extra.
Very high high success, almost 100% over the past 12 years.
Season will start the last week of November and go through to Feb 15.

Is lynx getting any closer to being recognized as a trophy by Pope & Young?

I don't think so, and I am not sure why. Pope and Young is always a year to two behind the curve.

There should be a 150 pound minimum for something to be called big game and pope and young recognizes big game records. Even 150 is a stretch but the there is rationale for pronghorn and coues.

Bou, pope and young mountain lion minimum is laughable. many females make the minimum which average 85 lbs. Just saying.

P&Y minimum has been bumped a few times over the years. Started out at 12-0/8ths and currently 13-8/16ths. Lynx is not recognized by P&Y, B&C or GSO (Super Slam). Lynx is a beautiful animal, but I personally could never justify spending more $$$ for a lynx hunt than a mountain lion hunt. That's just me...
