Jerry Marcacci, a retired State Farm agent makes knives as a hobby and I have several. I asked if he could do one in Damascus and this was my Christmas present. Pretty impressive.

Hard not to like anything Damascus, my favorite construction technique by far, always like when they feature Damascus blades on that Forge in Fire tv show. this one looks Gorgeous!!! to have it in hand and hold and admire such a fine piece of craftsmanship a work of art, is near magical ... awe inspiring...stimulating...primal feeling wells up inside...thanks for sharing.

this blade reminds me of the traditional black and white keffiyeh

I have no idea and I do not know if Jerry does he said he got the Damascus "ingot" whatever that is from a professional knife maker in Missouri by the name of Craig Caemerer.

Know nothing about knife making, have trouble sharpening a blade, but I would call that pattern "beautiful" !!

More than the looks, I like the blade shape. Just about perfect IMO. Great looking knife too, almost too beautiful to use.
