A few pictures from the last 2-3 trips out with camera. Also I'll attach link to my recently build website. My wife figured out how to build and built for a Christmas gift we spent alot of time figuring it out and putting together. Anyone have any feedback on tweets to it let me know it is a work in progress.

Beautiful pics, John! I’m assuming these are on the Rocky Mtn. Arsenal? If so, have you photographed any deer or elk that you recognize from a previous year’s encounter?

John, your wildlife pics are just amazing...you have incredible timing skills.
May I ask, what camera and lenses do you use? Do you prefer a tripod, or take them off-hand?

Mike and Bob - my Camera is a Canon R5 with the exception of the landscape shot above all were taking with a Canon 600mm F4 ii. The landscape shot was taken with a Cannon 24-70 F2.8. I rarely use a tripod unless low light conditions. I do often use a monopod. The main reason I like a monopod is the damn 600mm lens alone weighs almost 9 pounds and I can only hold that thing steady for so long.
Thanks for the complements guys!

Thanks for sharing the info, John. I've just got my old Nikon D-90 plus a Nikon 70-300 f/4.5-6.3, and the kit lens which is an 18-105. With the crop sensor in the D-90, it makes that 300mm effectively a 450mm, or so they tell me. Still takes good pics so long as I do my job right..:)
That Canon R5 plus that incredible lens must be a dream to shoot with, but packing around a 9 lb. lens? Yep, a monopod would be a must have for me, too.

Canon's have always had that sharpness and such clarity... I have a Canon video camera with a snapshot option, that even takes some awesome pics!

Honestly one thing that really makes a difference is editing pictures I use lightroom on almost any picture I take. This is the first picture I took before and after edit.

Great pics and info. Best wishes on your website. It looks good. I've got the Canon R6 with their 100 - 400 lens. I'm having fun with that setup.
