I’m in the market for a good new sight. Have considered the Axcel Landslyde. Would anyone have recommendations on any of the newer sites. Probably won’t go with the Garmin since it’s illegal in some of the states I hunt.

Spot Hoggs New Boonie looks really sweat. Some big improvements over the Fast Eddie. Two Sights that come to mind for top notch proven hunting sights are BG and Spot Hogg. Can’t go far wrong with either brand and you get pretty much any base and housing configuration you’d want. I am partial towards fixed based and double pin housing

I was hoping maybe it was a new site with no politics… but I guess I’ll keep wishing.
I had an Axcel a few years ago. Not my favorite by a long shot. Didn’t even hunt with it, didn’t make it though a summer. I currently shoot an Option Canyon Pounder, but would also consider Spott Hog top notch. Would maybe look at Dialed or UltraView as well. Those recommendations are considering you aren’t particularly worried about $ cause all of them ain’t cheap.

I got Black Gold FX sight last year and love it. Bright pins through shooting times and plenty sturdy. Easy to set up.

I just bought the UV Slider for my new Hoyt. Other than price, it looks and feels like a high end product. Haven’t mounted it yet.

I have an axcel landslyde on my new Lift. Im really missing the 3 pin vertical from spott hog. I may end up switching back. The landslyde is an awesome sight.

I’ve used an Axcel Landslyde with a UV3 hunting scope for the past two years. Rock solid, micro adjust, easy to use. Awesome combo that I can’t recommend enough.

Bought & Shot the Axcel Landslyde with UV3 for 3D last year , I loved it, well made, turn allen screw and switch out for hunting with 4 pin Axcel site . Mathews V3 Bridgelock makes switching back and forth very easy. Use the same arrows to Hunt as 3D. Have not committed to Hunting with single pin yet. Garmin just too much money, haven't tried any other sliders.

Option Archery Site. Super awesome. Not the cheapest but I love the fixed pins and slider option. What's so great is that your housing never moves. I did like some others on here and ordered the 8 pin oval housing with 5 pins. Got the oval peep with it. What a setup. I used a slider once and forgot it in the "slid" position and missed a rabbit. After that I was done with moving it. With the Option you never have the chance of screwing that up. K.I.S.S. works for me!
