We have moose and there will be at least one tag. (Doubtful for non-residents).

In the email nevada sent me the calf survival rates are very impressive. Amazing what can be done without wolves on the landscape

The neat thing is the moose moved in from neighboring states, the population wasn’t created by transplants. I haven’t heard how many tags there will be but I can’t imagine it’ll be more than one or two, likely only available for residents due to the low number of tags and the draw odds will be astronomical. On the flip side all applying will have the same chance.

The way Nevada sets up their draws, the first year is going to be your best chance of drawing

That's cool. I hunted northern Nevada in 2016 just a few miles south of the Idaho line. I saw the same cow moose almost every day along one stretch of forest road. I wasn't expecting to see moose there.

I’ve never personally seen one and I don’t hunt northeast NV often but I’ve heard of wolf sightings in that part of the state several times over the past 10 or so years. Plus, in the NV reg’s there’s this on the big game identification page, so there might be a wolf or two passing through the areas the moose inhabit on occasion…..
