I have an older cheaper model Browning compound bow from the early 90's any idea what it might be worth? More then $30?

Probably not. Turn it into a carp shooting bow.

In reality it’s worth little to nothing.

. I am currently trying to buy a used 2 to 3 year year-old bow, and there are many guys that think they are worth almost what they paid for them.

The only ones that are actually selling are 50% to 60% of original purchase price

I can’t believe how much fan boys are paying for used Mathews bows on EBay. I’ve seen older Mathews go for more than $300.

Try the Vintage compound page on Facebook. Lot’s of guys looking for older bows.

If it was a 1990s browning rifle or shotgun you’d have essentially full market value retained.

If you have Facebook there are pages dedicated to older compound bows and people who collect them… I’d think it’s possible you could get $100 if you paid shipping…

"This reminds me, what’s a henweigh?"

Depends, layer, roaster or fryer?

Actually might be able to sell it to a fisherman. Those bows make great boat anchors.

Check pawn shop racks for similar bows. If it's one of the old Xcelerators they were pretty and smooth shooters. I'd love to have a lefty.

Thanks I threw it away

Funny, old compounds are worthless unless you put some recurve limbs on the riser (Frankinbow). Now, an old trad bow is worth multiple times what it was originally worth.

The old wood riser browning bows don't have a "warf" able or "frankenbow" able limb angle.

I had a Browning Explorer compound back in the late 80s, early 90s. It wasn't as fast as some of my buddies' bows but I could drive tacks with it! It was probably my all time favorite bow. There was something about the grip on that wooden riser. It fit me perfectly!
