Here is HOWL's automated email generator to reject the animal rights biased commissioners. This is critical. Please read and sign. https://www.howlforwildlife.org/cpwcommission

It says only for Colorado residents. Why is that?

From: Stix
02-Mar-24
Because by your address, it will send an email to your districts senator. If you are out of state it will send email to senate majority and minority leader. So please even if a non resident, send the HOWL. It will get forwarded.

Is there a particular reason the canned message focuses on the importance of agriculture in wildlife management and not that they are anti-hunting?

So looks like the link says, “voice concerns over nominees”? The state has accepted wolves? Think you need to oust incumbents.

From: Stix

The former wildlife commission rejected wolves. It was a ballot initiative that forced the wolf reintroduction.

pirogue, the voters on the Front Range forced the wolves in an election. We have an anti-hunting governor who is putting animal rights professionals on the Commission. It's a mess.

I had a post removed over on the Wall because, I assume, I made a strongly worded statement about the stupidity of managing wildlife policies with ballot initiatives. Maybe I should hang out here more often.

Howled.

"Honorable Senator, The decision before the Senate on the wildlife commission nominees is of great importance to those of us who value Colorado's wildlife management policies. During his time in office, Governor Polis has stacked the Commission with animal rights activists and anti-hunters to move Colorado away from the North American Model of wildlife management and attack our hunting and fishing heritage. I understand anti-hunting organizations are telling Senators these messages you have been receiving in opposition to the Commission appointees are AI or bot generated. That is absolutely false. The fact that these anti-hunting organizations support the nominees supports my point about the Governor stacking the Commission. These messages against the nominees are from truly concerned citizens and your vote against the confirmation of these Commissioners is a vote for the continued success of our state's wildlife conservation efforts. I urge you to deny their confirmation."

Thank God, Great news. Hopefully Bellilue drops out or is denied during confirmation. Fingers crossed.

Already an article out about Skiba quitting. He sounds defeated in his comments.
