Kind of small muley for 5500.00 on private land. They get many quality 4.5-5.5 bucks? Or are they still recovering from the hard winter last year?

I'm never going to oversell anything or post pictures of the biggest deer they kill either, but yes, they kill must larger and older deer. And $5,500 for quality, 1x1 guided deer hunts, on private land with tags/meals/lodging is an outstanding price. Success rates the last 5 years are near 100%.

Maybe someone should click the link and look at the pics from the place, plenty of good bucks if you ask me. Price is about what mule deer hunts go for, maybe a little low actually for private land and a license.
Good ,luck to whomever takes it.

Websites have bucks from past seasons. Post the past 2 years. That buck there is a diy public land size deer. But I do respect you for not posting the buck of dreams like a lot of outfitters do. Something to be said for that.

Agree Mule Power. I did look at the website link. Lot of small bucks and few nice ones. I am hunting Muleys in CO on private for much less than that. Have killed 5 bigger than that buck. However, I do agree that 5500-7500 is what most outfitters charge. The eastern plains outfitter i know would not consider having a hunter shoot a 2.5-3.5 yo buck like that one. Most of their bucks are much larger typically. However, this is probably a solid bowhunt for most people from the east.

Success on all archery deer in CO is 24%. 100% on bucks is great.

Success rate and opportunity on private only is much higher than 24%. I am personally at 60% myself over the years. Opportunity was 100% , if i had been willing to shoot any branch antlered buck. This was for 10 hunts over last 25 years. I dont use outfitters much any more.

All true but getting on the right private is part of the cost and CPW success rates, although a guess, probably aren't artificially low any more often than they are artificially high.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but isn't it not PC to do black face on a public forum? LOL

Well I guess it's safe to assume we won't be seeing any pics from KHNC. I was hoping to see pics of the 5 bow killed bucks that were bigger than the one posted. A 60% success rate is pretty impressive too.

I’m assuming his PM’s were lit up after this…
