Juuuuust in case anyone is interested on that bucket list leopard....we have two spots open for hunts in Zim and Moz...Zim is $26k and Moz is $24K and these include the daily rates, taxes and trophy fees. Now...don't shoot the messenger about the price. If you have ever researched leopard hunting prices, you will see these are great deals. In fact, the Moz hunt is a cancellation and the fella left money on the table. Hit me up for more info. Peyton

Are leopards from Zim and Moz importable to the USA?

15-Mar-24
Yes, they are. You will most definitely want to work with a customs broker, but yes. Buffalo there is no problem and as of SCI and DSC a month ago, the first lions were supposed to be cleared for importation based on very stringent oversight by USFW, working with outfitters that provide solid documentation for the area, conservation practices, etc. Sorry for the long answer....but yes.

This was my dream hunt, since reading Capstick as a kid. Too rich for my blood, but damn that would be cool! GL to anyone who scoops this up and does it.

I recall being in SA in 2004 and a leopard hunt was 10 grand. Man I wish I would have spent the cash lol.

Yea, the draw system for outfitters they used to do in RSA went away...which is ridiculous on so many levels.

I was in Zim hunting on 3 separate times while uncle bob was implementing his land reforms. I saw first hand what was happening to the white African landowners. It was heartbreaking. When the tyrant died, it is one of the few times I have felt joy at someone’s death .
