Not much big game to photograph, at least with horns/antlers. But here are a few birds, landscapes and maybe a mammal or two.

Great shots! What kind of turkeys are those, Merriam or Rios,
From: JohnMC

To me the turkeys around he look like Rios. But I'd guess there are a probably some Merriam mixed in with em.

That picture of the ringneck rooster is unreal, the colors just jump out at you.
I prefer the color picture of the old building but both are excellent.

Some great shots. Lately I've been thinking of getting a bigger camera, because sometimes even the best pocket model just doesn't get it done.

John, what is your camera set up you are using? Your photos really stand out.
From: JohnMC
02-Apr-24
Jjs the camera for all of these was a Canon R5
The lens for wildlife was a Canon 600mm f4 ii - the buff might have been a Canon 70-200 mm f2.8. The landscapes I think were all taking with a Canon 24-70 2.8

John are some of those from the Pawnee NATLGL.
From: JohnMC

Push - The landscapes and antelope in that general area but none were taking on the grasslands. The cliffs are a ranch I hunt on and there are supposed to be golden eagles nesting out there, but I did not find them. Pheasant was in Nebraska, the rest were in Northern Colorado here and there.

Here is a long was off. Not often but to day I got luck and when he flew off he landed close enough to be able to fill most the frame in the above pictures. Actually, he flew to nest then next to me.
