I watched a bobcat spend 20 minutes sneaking up on a flock of woodducks. At just the right moment it sprung from the elevated bank into the middle of the creek... just to watch them flush and squeak away without a single nick. I swear that cat was embarrassed as it looked around and flicked water off it's paws. After a long pause she casually walked away with a "I sure hope nobody saw that" look. One of my favorite bowhunts of all time!

That's cool. It felt like she intentionally rotated her back half to "push" the cat off. Awesome vid! That cat definitely got some bruises... And now we know cats dont always land on their feet. Just wanted to drop the vid into the thread.

Good video ! I wonder how much this happens that nobody ever sees.Sometimes they are super successful ! I had a camera on a trail that deer used a lot and once when I ran my card I had a bobcat walking away, then about two minutes later it’s walking toward the camera with a sqirrel in its mouth. I’m thinking it just went to the squirrel store and picked up breakfast !
