Anyone have experience with Halo or PetSafe Spot on or other brands of GPS dog Collar. Invisible Fence is coming out with their version of a GPS collar. Wondering how they compare to a simple wireless systems that just set up a radio signal circle at about 1/4 the cost. Experiences good/bad battery life accuracy signal time etc.

We've had the Halo for our 2 dogs for a couple years and are very happy with it.
A friend of ours has a giant Rottweiler that habitually ran through their underground fence to chase deer. He got a Halo and he doesn't chase the deer anymore. After I saw the success he had we decided to order Halos for our dogs.
The battery will last 12+ hours, the training that came with them was good, everything can be done on your cell phone with the app and the customer service is truly some of the best I've ever had with any product.
I'm not saying it's for every dog owner but we like it.

Yes, the collar has a rechargeable battery. We plug it in at night like you would a cell phone or any other electronic device.

We have one of the simple wireless radio systems. Works great! Batteries last about 2 months. I have no experience with the GPS system, but the radio one works for what I need.
