First fawn

I know this sounds crazy. But, on my way home this morning on the back roads. Right across the street from my house, there was a Doe nursing her fawn. No more than 10-15 yards of the road. This is the earliest I have ever seen a fawn.

T'is the season... Not uncommon, count back 200 days, or 29 weeks (203 days) likely conceived 3rd or 4th week of October...
