Bingo. Drew elk for the same unit as my moose tag, drew the muley rut tag I wanted, and wife drew her deer and elk. Might buy a lotto ticket. Nice 70th birthday presents!

I’m always surprised how many bowsiters mention all the rifle/ml tags they apply for. I mean zero disrespect or offense, just surprised a bowhunting forum has so many rifle hunters too. I thought we were all competing for those archery only tags on here!

Dang Lou you’re having a good draw year in CO. Maybe the system looks at your birthdate and thinks you’re no threat to the wildlife. Also maybe I should have you fill out my app’s every year. :)

Congrats Lou! Elk tags are a great birthday gift. Today’s my 40th birthday. I’ll be hunting elk with all 3 of my sons this year and I drew a buck only archery tag for the same unit. Good stuff!

Drew a Colorado archery bull moose tag after applying for the past 23 years; Also drew a limited elk tag but surrendered it back to the CPW, because of the moose hunt, but still maintained my 2 elk PP for next year. I am stoked but now have to think about a moose hunt for the next 100 days. Fun days ahead!
