Just returned from a Safari with Dries Visser. My wife and I had a great time and she took her first 3 animals ever. She really got hooked and is looking forward to returning. I have been trying to get her to join me for the past 30 years, and now she knows the attraction.

Congratulations on a fantastic hunt and great animals. That happened to me……..went to South Africa for the first time back in 2017 with a friend. Brought my wife and daughter and they went on a Safari while my buddy and I hunted. When they got back from their Kruger Park sightseeing tour my PH talked my wife into coming back the next year to hunt. At the time she had been shooting archery for 15+ years, 3D and indoor spots…..never wanted to hunt. She was reluctant but we went anyway and now most of my hunts these days cost me twice as much. Her first animal was a zebra.

Hi Matt, The arrow Broadhead combo was custom made by Iron Will. The broadhead was a 200gr Buff head double bevel. It was a heart shot, so the buff went about 60 yards and we watched him fall and heard the Death Moan. For everything else I used Easton FMJ 4mm and 125gr Iron Will wide broadheads.

Who was your PH?

Stion was our PH, Phillip was our tracker and although we didnt need the services of Charlie the dog, he became my wife's best friend. Stion was outstanding!

Ahhh. I went straight to it's definition of "fat". That makes more sense. Catfish also have an adipose fin...
