I had a portion of my place selectively logged about 5 years ago. I now have stilt grass growing in those areas. Regeneration in those areas has been almost nil. I heard that clethodym will knock it back. Anybody have any experience with stilt grass? I want to spray something without killing the small oaks and other trees that I do have in those areas. Based on my research I don’t think cleth will harm the trees. Suggestions?

I can tell you that cleth will not hurt the trees, but to my knowledge, we don’t have stilt grass down here, so I don’t know what cleth will do to it. Cleth is definitely a grass killer. I can almost assure you that it will work best when the grass is young and not at a mature stage.
