when you plant mixes do you cover the seeds together or sep erate them.I have a disc and homemade cultipacker

I spead each seed separately (different sized seed makes it a pain to spread them mixed), then cover once. I mostly do Throw-n-mow so I'm really just covering them with thatch. On a disced field I'd spread then either very lightly disc it, or just pack it.

I spread each type of seed separately and then pack it once. I do not disc in my rye or brassicas as I’ve found packing them is all I need. I’m on sandy soil though
