I have some good full size binos. I am looking for the best , somewhat smaller/lighter rangefinding bino that I will actually take bowhunting (treestand). I have looked at the recent reviews, but I am still perplexed. I think an 8x32 would be fine. If I get the many excellent 10x42 versions, they are so big that realistically they are not likely to taken to a treestand. Open to ideas.

I recently bought Swarovski EL Range, 10x32. Smaller than the older ranging binocs i used in the past and better glass. In conjunction with the new Swarovski 17 - 45 spotter I bought I think they cover my optics needs well.

I had the Leica Geo's for awhile- top quality, Great binos. Check the warranty on those RF style binos though, at the time the Electronic RF portion of the Leica's was only a 5 year warranty....I think now it's lifetime.
I went back to a separate RF and Bino for multiple reasons....

I’ve handled several pair and decided they’re too heavy. I’m sticking with my Swaro 10x-32el and Leica RF.

I just purchased the Leupold BX-4. I also like that the ranging button can be changed since I’m a lefty. They only weigh 39ozs. There’s lots of good choices on the market.
