This vane is the culmination of a two year University of Colorado study to optimize stability and accuracy with broadheads while minimizing drag, wind drift, and sound. The study included 2,000 hours of fluid dynamic modeling and over 2,500 arrows shot. Year one of the study found that the Hybrid Hunter vane had the best accuracy and stability of the industry vane profiles tested. Year two of the study focused on changing the geometry on the front and back of the vane to reduce noise, drag, and wind drift while maintaining or improving stability and accuracy. This vane design is the result. Similar to the Hunter profile, these vanes are engineered with added surface area high and back on the vane to move the center of pressure back. The study proved this key for improved broadhead stability and accuracy. These vanes are 2.5 inches long with a more gradual front incline which is shown to reduce drag, wind drift, and sound compared to short, high-profile vanes. The angled back end of this vane also reduces sound and drag when compared to shield-cut designs. In 20 rounds of sound testing, this vane was equal to or quieter than the Max Stealth which was the quietest industry vane in our testing. From all of my testing this summer, I truly think these vanes will make most people shoot broadheads more accurately. Length: 2.5 in., Height: 0.570 in., Weight: 9.0 grains Patents Pending. Let me know if you have any questions.

I’d like to try them, but i didn’t see that you offered them in pink…

They look good, but it'll be next year before I try them. Already have arrows ready for the season, including your original vanes.

Can these be applied with an Arizona E-Z Fletch Mini Fletching Tool?

Did you test them in a 3 or 4 vane configuration? Or both?

15-Aug-24
We tested these primarily in a 3-fletch. A 4-fletch can be done but really isn't necessary with this vane.

I’m with Murph. It sounds silly but I see pink better than anything and I am in touch with my feminine side.

Haha, I had planned to add fluorescent yellow next, but let me know what colors you'd like to see. These vanes are 2.5 inches long, so some of E-Z fletch tools work but I don't think the Mini.

Its the EZ Fletch Mini-Max that'll take a 3" vane. It's what I have an use.

In case Murph doesn't chime back in, that is 2 for pink. :)

I like the design, once in a florescent green/yellow, I might try them out of my ILF setup...

Yes Bowfreak, count me in on pink… best color imo especially if you don’t shoot a lighted nock..

What kind of adhesive is best to use with these vanes?

Hot Pink, white is second for me

Super glue is the way to go. I believe they are similar to the hybrid material as the IW website says no primer pen needed.

17-Aug-24
Yes, any cyanoacrylate type vane adhesive should work well. No priming needed.

What was the best mounting angle for these in your testing? Straight offset? Helical? What degree?

Thanks.
