The sick lion thread and roadkills got me thinking and I know this is old news from last week of JFK Jr dumping a dead bear cub in Central Park but hadn't seen a thread on it so here it is:
How many other folks on a presidential ticket would’ve picked up roadkill on the motive of saving the pelt and utilizing the meat? Genuinely might be the first president since Teddy to even contemplate such a thing. Silly of him to dump it in Central Park, but the initial motive of utilization of resources should be applauded by all.
I feel the same way Boggs... My girl is like "Owww", but I'm like heck yeah, I could see myself doing something like that when I was younger, but wouldn't have been stupid enough to dump it in a park, especially Central Park... But think about it, when you're in a big city like that and haven't the time, where else ya gonna dump it... Probably covering it up in a trash bag and a dumpster would have been wiser choice, but then, the Hudson River is right there...8^)
Wild game is the property of the state and its citizenry, need to follow the rules. Whether its road-kill or not. If you want to utilize it there are channels you need to go through.
Dumping it in in park because you change your mind is just plain dumb.
