How long do nocturnal nock batteries last. Not once activated, that info is readily available as to how long they will stay lit, but how about unused in package or on shaft. Those batteries don’t last forever. How long before they won’t turn on

I've had Nocturnal setting on arrows for as many as 3 seasons and they've worked as intended. Can't say the same for Lumenock though they didn't make it to a second season. Victory archery had sold some for a few years, they switch from a nice glow to a strobe or flickering light about 3 minutes after being shot. They were awesome, except fir the fact they'd "light up" while on your string or in the quiver.
I'd be interested to see the other responses.

Not much information on this anywhere out there probably doesn’t make sense to stock up on a lot of things if they won’t last that long

I've had Nocturnals last 4 years. Not quite as bright after that much time, but certainly usable. I suppose after 4 years they won't stay lit for very many hours but that's usually not a problem.

Just replace your nocks every year. Then you don’t have to test the system ;)

Well that depends on how long they are on the shelf pre purchase so testing the system is still prudent

I called faradyne and asked them. They said they didn’t know for sure but thought it was around five years. Maybe they should test so they at least know!

I have some Nocturnals that are at least 3 years old, maybe older. I just shot all of them and tested them and they all work fine. I usually have a couple extra but I don't stock up on them.

I switched from Firenocks to chinese amazon nocks for 22.00. They have worked perfectly all summer long. I wont be changing any time soon. 6 nocks for price of 1 firenock.
