After a year of back surgery, not being able to move , yada yada, I tried to be ready for bow season. Luckily I found deer not far from my truck at dusk. Tracking in the smoky Idaho air with no moon proved to be a challenge until he opened up a little. After the year I’ve had, I think I’m more thankful for this deer than any other.

Finally a P&Y Mulie. Spot and Stalk. Shot was approx. 15 yds while he was stripping the velvet off his head with his hind feet. Old Bear TD Recurve 42# Zwickey Delta BH. Passthru. This is my last critter towards Alberta Bowhunters Grand Master Award. Six different Species, all P&Y class. I believe first to do it all Trad.
