You guys that have Ebike's - is it better to carry your bow on the front handlebars in a holder or on your back/shoulder with a sling? I've got a long bumpy ride to stands and just wondering about a bow on the handle bars and the constant "shock" from the bumps if it would eventually mess with the site. I'm not sure it would be any better riding on your back but thought I'd check here first. TIA

I prefer the handlebars. Nothing is ideal however.

I'm with GG on this one for the same reason. It seems that for me it's not if I have a spill, but when.

Another vote for in my pack. Tried the handlebar thing but I hunt old logging roads in BC and fight new alder growth.

I just use an old primos bow sling so the bow hangs against my back. Once it is adjusted so the bow doesn’t hit anywhere it works ok.

Strapping your bow to your bike is a great way to have screws get jolted loose from the constant vibrations, made that mistake once. I’d strap it on your person.

No good way , depends on trail your on. My Bacou has shocks front and back and still jolts things pretty good. On the handle bars in the dark is pretty iffy and on spill or branch between pulley and string I yi yi , been there . Have researched the rack mounts for the rear but worried about splashing mud and debri. I like it on the small pack or sling on shoulder No great way for me yet

I use a bow sling for mine. I just worry about my bow bouncing around if i put them on the front of the bike. I always ride down fields edges or across fields so it can get rather bumpy. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all replies. Sounds like best way is sling over back. I have a bow holder ordered so I may try it once to see.

I built this rack that out of a piece of square aluminum tubing and a couple Kolpin handlebar mounts and bolted it to my rear rack. It works well.

Just remember that those broadheads will kill you too. I would never transport arrows on a bike or atv without having them in a complete hard shell case. There is no bow quiver that I know of that is protective enough. A minor wreck could get very bad very fast.
