My FaceBook feed brought this up this fun reminder up morning. That year I hunted early. This year, I'm leaving around 5AM in the morning and hope to get my tent up in time to do a quick hunt in my "easy" spot for the evening. Easy spot is actually an amazing spot if there aren't others in it. Of course, its an "easy spot" so odds of that are slim, but I have had the fun of it and come very close on multiple occasions. And FYI, there is no audio editing in either video so yes, one of my greatest pride points is there is no place where I start screaming like a girl. :)

Great video. I had the same thing happen two weeks ago. I yelled at bear to keep from surprising it. It ran straight at me and stopped about ten feet from my left. We look at each other and I remember saying "dont even think about it bear". We had a 10 second stare down and it took off after he realized I was a human. He broke branches for 20 seconds runing away. Good luck on your hunt
