First of all, I apologize of the picture of a picture. A friend recently aquired this mount from his bowhunter neighbor. His question to any taxidermists out there is, can this be fixed ? And, would it be worth the cost ? Thank You.

Yes.

Worth is up To to prospective buyer to decide

Not enough information to make a call on price to fix whatever ails the mount. Need better pictures of the mount from different angles.

Anything can be fixed, it's a personal choice regarding 'cost' vs 'value'. (Like, when do you stop fixing an old vehicle and buy a new one.)

Sometimes a mount is so far gone that starting over with a new Cape and Form is the "best" way to go.

As Dana and Bou said, the owner would have to decide if it was worth spending that amount of money. I have a shoulder mount of big 8 point buck my grandfather shot in Maine; it means something to me, so I would consider remounting it if and when it needs it. Personally, mounts of animals I did not kill myself aren't worth much to me, except that one and the antlers from the last buck my Dad shot. Some people look at them more as art or decoration, some see them as mementos. To each his own.
