I've seen many shot with a bow, that's the first I've seen taken with a spear. In high school and college I think his sporting event was the javelin throw.

A guy in my neighborhood would hunt hogs, but only with a spear. He commissioned Wilkenson to make the head for him. He had it hanging on the wall behind the bar, of the bar that he owned.

Impressive and a very nerving challenge! If that bull had truly wanted to he could have torn Ol' Tim a new one. Guy in 2022 here in Colorado got tore up really bad by a big bull moose after he missed with his bow.

These hooligans wouldn't let me go past them last night, wouldn't spook when I waved my arms and threw sticks. I finally backed out and found another route around the narrow path. Truly wild cow moose are spooky as hell, and usually either blast off or get mad and chase you. Bulls, not so much. Still pretty primal to kill one with a spear, no matter what. Ballsy as hell!
