I just spent over 70+ hours in ground blinds over the past week and am wondering if anyone makes a Quiet blind chair. I am looking for a good chair that is quiet and does not make noise if you shift your weight. It must have a back and be reasonably comfortable enough to withstand a 10-12 hour sit. I would prefer no arm rests. Should be capable of silently swiveling. Telescoping legs a plus. Must be reasonably packable. Any suggestions?

I would like to know the same thing. I was given a hawk by a friend because he bought 2 and they both ended up squeaking, very frustrating

I like the Alpz Outdoors Stealth Hunter as is a swivel type chair with the 4 legs being adjustable which is great for uneven terrain. Comfortable and you can get it with no armrests.

I hate to say it but the best most quiet and comfortable seat I’ve used are the cheap 3 leg high back stools. If I could find one with a cushy seat I’d be in heaven. Everything with arm rests or that folds much squeaks. The little stools are easy to shift around and move if needed. Or just fold them up and set them aside

I've been using both Primos and Blackout. They're 3 legged, fold up to fit in my blind pack, both have triangular seats, and each has a seat back. They are not the swivel type-just a chair. I hunt all day and, at least for me, they're comfortable. Your butt may vary.

I bought several of the Mossy Oak chairs from Wal Mart . Fairly comfortable and at $49.00 each the price is right. Easy to put together with 4 knob bolts. I would definitely recommend spraying all swivel parts with bolt break or similar prior to hunting . Lightweight with two adjustable legs.

I use a small metal lawn chair. I also have a bag chair without arms and it does well.

Red Neck Blinds has a nice chair. No telescoping legs, but super comfortable.

I got a Huntmore 360 when they were in business but everyone complained about the weight and price which was like $190.00 when I got mine and I still love that chair and I can pretty much sit all day. The owners sent me some updated washers and I have to say that chair is very comfortable for me and I had back surgery on my L5 S 1 and carry hardware in my back. I may stand up every few hours just to stretch my legs but can make a full days hunt if I desire to stay that long. Closet chair I’ve seen since then is called a Chama chair I believe .

Tom, like you I spend a ton of time in blinds in close proximity to a lot of deer at my Ohio place. I have only found one chair that I will use in a blind. No more metal chairs or anything that swivels.
When it gets cold every blind chair I tried pops and creaks and they absolutely suck.
The only chair I use now in every deer and turkey blind is a one piece molded plastic chair like they sell at Lowe’s. I you want to you can sawzall off the arms. I don’t mind the armrests. Plenty comfortable for me! Absolutely quiet when I shift weight or draw my bow. And less than $30!

Pat x2!!!!! I started using these after reading a ground blind article by Frank Noska that is what he uses in his blinds. Can’t argue with his success. Year two of using them and so far they’ve been great. Sat with my daughter on her antelope hunt in a blind over water in Wyoming, I stacked two together and lashed them to my pack. Thier light enough to lug around open country pretty easy. Thier way more comfy than the fold up 3 legged stool. Especially for 14 hour august blind sits

In a “permanent” blind I love the vintage ‘50’s Dining chairs like this one. Built like a tank and silent.
In a portable blind, I like the ol plastic Walmart chair.

I also have the Cabelas 360, which is comfortable, but heavy to move around. If it came in Aluminum, it would be great for pack in’s. If you use the three legged chairs, get one of those round padded stadium seats. Otherwise you’ll be a Bud Light drinker by the end of a ten hour day.

In my permanent ground and tower blinds, I use what Pat suggests above, one piece molded plastic chair. I often put a foam rubber cushion on the seat. It’s quiet, comfortable and very inexpensive.

For box blinds with hard floors a good office chair is the clear winner for me. I’ve never found a seat for a pop up blind that I liked.

Folding dove chair from Fleet Farm.
I used a more expensive brand last spring, but it tipped and folded up just as I shot at a bird.
Mave sure the floor is flat, a small shovel can help with that. When soft I use pieces of plastic landscaper edging or plywood to keep the legs from sticking in causing instability.

I use Bass Pro pedestal boat seats in my blinds. They swivel quietly and are very comfortable. I've used then for 20 years or so.

I bought one off campfire adjustable legs for uneven ground. No arm rest. It's a real chair. Padded swivel and it folds down it's a little on the heavy side so when I'm okay cuz I use a for antelope hunting and places I can drive to and I think it's got a sling so you can put it on your back if you had to

I totally agree with Pat! I spend lots of time in ground blinds. I have experimented and tried all kinds of chairs. It it folds, it WILL make noise. Solid, cheap, one piece plastic chairs are the ticket. Frank

After spending a few days hunting white tails in 4-18 degree, temps, I said to myself there’s got to be a better chair than old office chairs I use.
