Traditional Coues Harvest

Words can’t express the excitement of harvesting my third Coues deer with my special recurve! For those of you who have followed my journey as a new traditional archer, you know this custom bow—crafted from wood from my parents' urns—is what inspired me to start trad hunting.
This Coues buck was a true challenge, playing games with me for over 2 hours! He’d approach the water but would spook at the slightest sound, even a bird flying overhead. At one point, I had him at just 7 yards, but a single branch blocked my shot. Finally, he took his last sip at 25 yards.
With a perfectly placed Safari Tuff Tipan arrow tipped with the new Vortex Swinger, the arrow penetrated completely through him. He expired just 75 yards away on a dead run.
