'morning All,
I spent last week up in Jackson Hole.
Man, I can't believe it's already been a year since I was up here for 2023.
Last year I was up here recovering from outpatient shoulder preventative surgery/pre-cancer, waiting for the green light from my Dr. to go back and hunt my Desert Ram tag here in my home state.
This year I'm just waiting to head out for my late Iowa Whitetail hunt, not a bad place to wait it out.
I started getting a Winter Buzz haircut as I'm always wearing a beanie and I hate beanie hair but man it's cold for sure.
Thanks for taking the time to view All.

Beautiful pics! Txs for sharing
Great pics, Robb! When you’re in Iowa, you could pick up bunch of corncobs to replenish the azzwipe supply for that old outhouse! My dad always said that they worked great and “they cleaned off all of the new, and part of the old” ;-)
Safe travels on your way to Iowa my friend!!
Cool pictures thanks for sharing Lewis

Thanks for sharing. My wife and I looked at getting a place in Jackson back in 2010. Prices were insane and more so now. I have no idea how a person working at a local restaurant or ski shop can afford rent much less save to buy a place there.
I have been fortunate to harvest three elk there. Here is a picture of my last hunt there when also was below 0F. I went into town to warm up on one of my hunts and wrote a few postcards.
Great pics and thanks for sharing, Robb! Good luck in Iowa!
Beautiful pics and country. Thanks for sharing.
Merry Christmas Robb!
Great pics as always.
I really need your shacket in the first pic for my TCU bowl game in Albuquerque at the end this month. Who made it?
We were in Jackson in August ...seems as though it's a private jet kinds place....I think we paid $10.00 for an ice cream cone . Talked the raft guide...the place they live in was bought 30+years ago....impossible to afford now according to him
Made my morning Robb. Thanks for that. My best, Paul
Merry Christmas Robb.
Always enjoy your pics/reviews of different places. Bob
Great pics, thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas!
Great pics and thanks for sharing.
My wife and I met some friends in Jackson last year- a nice little high end resort town.
We stayed at the Cloudveil right in the middle of town- nice hotel. The mountains N of town are a great hiking destination ....and Yellowstone isn't too far.
Love that area. One of the great things about hunting that location is driving up to Jackson.
You always have a good time Robb! And you always share it so well!
Looks like a great trip! Thanks for sharing Robb!
A few pics from your upcoming deer hunt would be cool too. Good luck.

Thanks for the kind words, All.
For those that reach out to me about my Desert Ram hunt last year, see my link.
The sheep where really rutting and the rams butting heads big time.
A guy shot a Cow Buff while I was digi-scoping up by Lower Slide Lake on the Forest ground.
The other Buff, didn't even react to the shot.
Kinda startled me as I didn't even see 'em, although the Dually Flatbed truck with the Gooseneck horse trlr should have given me a clue.
I really like this old Historical barn way out in Antelope Flats

That's pretty much it for this year's trip, right about 20 years of December in Jackson Hole for me.

Nice little trip and pictures.
Looks like a great time in beautiful country!
Great photos. That's one heck of a bull.
Thanks for the photos. I've seen many of the spots in your pics.
My wife and I lived in Jackson from 1978-1983. Since you are showing this time of year, on Dec 31 1978- Jan1 1979 it hit -50 f. No bs. That's in the Jackson record book. Additionally it was below freezing for one month straight that season. Also in the record book. Back then 5-7K elk winter wintered on the National Elk Refuge north of town. They were supplemental fed. Thanks again for pics.
Good stuff Robb thanks for sharing
Nice Robb. I went over and read your "ram" trip - very nice write up with lots of great pics. Bummer, you didn't kill, but glad you had a good time. Bob
Very nice pictures! Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Thanks again for the kind words
I'm certainly No JMC on pix, but I really enjoy getting out, Digi-Scoping and sharing with our Bowsite.
Good luck, Robb
Man, I have to get out there to see that country!!
Looks cold, Robb! Thanks for the pics!
Those Bighorns are beautiful animals!
Great pics and love the grand Tetons and how rugged they look.
Hey Thanks
